When an outdoor leisure equipment manufacturer needed assembly support for a playset donated to a pediatric cancer patient in Alabama, the company turned to their long-standing specialized home delivery partner: AIT.
The playset was part of the manufacturer’s work with a nonprofit group that helps create play-focused experiences for children fighting cancer. As the assembly provider, AIT Home Delivery was selected to complete the on-site setup at the recipient family’s home.
The project called for more than a standard home delivery appointment. The playset required careful on-site assembly, including wood construction, slide and swing installation, and final setup in the family’s yard. Once complete, the structure included multiple play features, including swings, slides, a climbing wall and a shaded, elevated play area.
For the family, the impact was immediate. In a message shared after the installation, they wrote, “You definitely made our boys’ day! Thank you again!!”
For AIT, the project also reflected the strength of a long-term customer relationship. The company has supported the equipment manufacturer’s installation work for more than a decade, completing over 100,000 installations during that time.
