In the face of limited capacity and global supply chain congestion, AIT's government and aerospace logistics teams in the United Kingdom and the United States worked together to quickly resolve an aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situation, shipping two civil aircraft engines from Miami to Auckland, New Zealand.
By securing direct flights via our core air carriers, coordinating dedicated air ride vehicles, and assuring adherence to critical tie-down requirements, AIT managed the seamless delivery every step of the way—with the engines arriving to their destination two weeks ahead of the customer’s next best transportation option.

In the midst of grueling winter storms, an aircraft was stuck in Texas – unable to take off without an auxiliary power unit. To move the critical part from Chicago to Dallas, a leading provider of commercial and business aircraft engine solutions turned to AIT.
Overcoming power outages, icy roads and a cargo shutdown at O’Hare International Airport, AIT quickly re-routed the shipment to a southern Illinois airport via hot-shot trucking and got the grounded aircraft back in the sky ASAP.
