AIT Worldwide Logistics debuts enhancements to online tracking
Delivery scheduling, improved international tracking, mobile responsiveness among upgrades to global logistics leader’s FasTrak portal
ITASCA, Ill. (November 12, 2019) – Transportation management leader, AIT Worldwide Logistics, recently unveiled several improvements to FasTrak, one of its two online tracking systems.
“Not only is FasTrak quicker than ever, users can now call up their shipment information within a more modern interface that looks and works great on any mobile device,” said AIT’s Vice President Information Systems, Chris McMillin.
“We’re really excited to expand FasTrak’s visibility through additional data integrations and use of robotic process automation,” he added. “These most recent enhancements are part of a long history we have at AIT of delivering quality for our customers, and we’re looking forward to bringing even more features to our suite of tools in the future.”
While FasTrak and its features are accessible without logging in—customers only need to enter a reference number to retrieve status and information—more extensive information and functionality is available via MyAIT. MyAIT is a customizable, online portal offering complete supply chain visibility.
According to McMillin, AIT has integrated multiple value-added features to offer an efficient, effective and easy solution right at customers’ fingertips.
FasTrak is just one example of AIT’s commitment to an ever-expanding, flexible technology infrastructure. That includes next generation scanning abilities and robotic process automation, which can give AIT customers a bird’s eye view of key delivery milestones, like mileage remaining to destination and estimated time of arrival.
