Teammates, industry peers award high marks to supply chain solutions leader in annual survey
ITASCA, IL (Feb. 26, 2025) – Leading business news magazine, Forbes, has once again named AIT Worldwide Logistics to its annual list of America’s Best Midsize Employers. The global freight forwarder previously appeared on the list in 2022.“We are incredibly honored to be recognized again by Forbes as one of the top employers in the United States,” said AIT’s Chairman and CEO, Vaughn Moore. “The company culture is rooted in our core values, and our people benefit from a wide variety of teammate-centric initiatives, including individual recognition badges, candid exchanges via our ‘Ask the Executives’ portal, and advanced mindfulness resources that are unique in our industry.”
"Our teammates are the key to AIT’s success, and I want to take this opportunity to thank them for all they do,” Moore added.
Compared to the results of other companies in the transportation and logistics sector, AIT ranks at or the above the industry average score in all six survey categories: image, workplace atmosphere and potential for development, diversity, wage/salary, working conditions and workplace.
Forbes, along with Statista, the world-leading market and consumer data provider, announced the prestigious list on Feb. 12. The publication determined the rankings through an independent survey from a sample of more than 217,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the United States.
In total, more than 6.5 million employer evaluations were considered. Across 25 industry sectors, Forbes published two lists: 500 best large employers with more than 5,000 employees and 500 best midsize employers with 1,000 to 5,000 employees.
The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.
