Smart Freight Centre (SFC)

SFC is a nonprofit dedicated to reducing emissions from freight transportation. Through its Global Logistics Emissions Council Framework, SFC provides actionable tools to measure and manage logistics emissions, helping companies improve operational efficiency and sustainability. 

Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance (ZEMBA)

ZEMBA is a collaborative initiative that advances demand for zero-emission maritime shipping. By uniting companies with shared goals, ZEMBA fosters innovative shipping technologies that minimize environmental impact.  

SmartWay

A program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, SmartWay connects freight companies with solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency while reducing emissions. SmartWay’s data-driven tools empower businesses to make informed choices for sustainable road transport. AIT has been a SmartWay partner since 2008. 

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

Through CDP, organizations measure and manage environmental risks within their supply chains. AIT participates in CDP’s programs to identify opportunities for sustainability while improving transparency and accountability. 

EcoVadis

EcoVadis assesses companies on their sustainability performance, offering comprehensive evaluations to drive improvements. By leveraging EcoVadis insights, AIT continues to strengthen its commitment to responsible supply chain practices. 

Airforwarders Association (AfA)

The AfA serves as the voice of the air forwarding industry to promote the efficient, secure movement of air cargo. The association fosters collaboration and offers resources that support environmentally responsible air cargo practices.

International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA)

IMPA supports responsible purchasing within the maritime sector, encouraging sustainable procurement practices. AIT collaborates with IMPA to promote better environmental decision-making across global shipping operations.

United Nations Global Compact

By aligning with the UN Global Compact’s principles, AIT reinforces our commitment to ethical, sustainable business practices. The compact’s guidance helps integrate sustainability into our daily operations, and solutions for our customers arouund the world.

I-10 Shipper-Carrier Coalition

This coalition is testing heavy-duty electric vehicle use along the I-10 corridor in the United States. By contributing to this initiative, AIT helps to advance scalable solutions for low-emissions freight transportation.
