AIT Worldwide Logistics Promotes Melanie Höferlin to Vice President, Human Resources, Europe

New role will support continued HR integration across region, enhancing experiences for teammates, customers
ITASCA, IL (Aug. 1, 2024) – AIT Worldwide Logistics, a leader in global supply chain solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Melanie Höferlin to vice president, human resources, Europe. With AIT’s growth in the region, Höferlin is leading change management efforts to support the ongoing unification of company HR functions across the continent.Höferlin joined AIT in November 2022 as senior director of HR for Europe with nearly two decades of HR experience developing and implementing comprehensive people strategies for multinational companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industries.
In this new role, she will lead a team of HR business partners and other professionals in HR operations, payroll, compensation, and recruitment roles. She will be accountable for all core talent processes in the region, including performance management, organizational workforce planning, leadership development, retention, and engagement.
Höferlin will also partner with senior leaders across the organization, focusing on people strategy, change management, and employee relations. She reports to Senior Vice President, Europe, Gary Roche, with a matrix reporting relationship into Chief Human Resources Officer, Angela Mancuso.

Based out of AIT’s facility in Muttenz, Switzerland, Höferlin holds a diploma in industrial business management from the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). She earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration from MWS Freiburg and she is certified by the International Organization for Business Coaching in organizational development and performance.
