Andrew Poll, Danny Estrada, Merrill Gad take on expanded leadership with North America, Latin America, human resources teams
ITASCA, IL (May 16, 2024) – Global supply chain solutions leader AIT Worldwide Logistics is pleased to announce promotions for three senior leadership team members. Andrew Poll, Danny Estrada and Merrill Gad have been named vice president of North America sales, Latin America, and global total rewards, respectively. During Poll’s seven-and-a-half-year tenure at AIT, he has been instrumental in elevating the company’s international presence. In his previous position as director of sales for the company’s U.S. central region, his collaborative leadership and strategic vision played a key role in expanding AIT’s services in air, ocean, and customs brokerage, significantly enhancing AIT’s Fortune 1000 portfolio. In his new capacity as vice president, Poll said he aims to continue practicing servant leadership, nurturing talent development, and ensuring the continued financial growth and stability of AIT.“Andrew’s proven track record exemplifies his adeptness not only in exceeding sales targets but also in fostering a supportive and growth-oriented team environment,” Naro said. “He will lead our sales strategy across North America, ensuring we continue to recruit top talent and enhance our sales culture.”

Since joining AIT in 2018, Estrada has been a pivotal leader in the growth of the company’s business in Mexico, spearheading expansion across the region, including key cities along the U.S. border. In his new role, Estrada will oversee AIT's efforts to enhance the company’s footprint in Latin America, focusing on organic growth, acquisitions, and strengthening its agent network.“Danny's exceptional efforts have significantly strengthened our operations, proving his capability to lead at a higher level,” Carter said. “His comprehensive oversight will be essential for driving growth, promising an exciting future for AIT in Latin America.”
Vice President, Global Total Rewards, Merrill Gad
After joining AIT in 2021 as senior director of total rewards, Gad made a crucial contribution by transforming the company’s total rewards strategy for human resources on a worldwide scale. In this new role, Gad will focus on advancing the network’s strategic initiatives and further integrating AIT’s global total rewards processes, ensuring the company’s approach remains competitive and aligned with its organizational goals.
