AIT-Europe facilities achieve environmental, quality certificationsITASCA, IL (Dec. 19, 2023) – AIT Worldwide Logistics, a leading global provider of logistics and freight forwarding services, is proud to announce that more than a dozen of its locations across eight countries in Europe have successfully obtained ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.

The certifications, widely recognized around the world, represent AIT's commitment to maintaining the highest standards in quality management (ISO 9001) and environmental management (ISO 14001).

“This is a significant milestone for AIT-Europe,” said AIT's Vice President, Europe, Mario Cavallucci. “These certifications reflect our unwavering commitment to industry-leading quality and sustainable practices while also affirming AIT’s service excellence for our customers. Teammates across the continent have worked diligently to integrate these standards into our processes, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement.”

Cavallucci added that implementing the improvements required for ISO 14001 certification not only supports reduced waste, but also lowers network costs, while the ISO 9001 requirements promote enhanced customer satisfaction and increased efficiency.

“Achieving these certifications involved a rigorous, company-wide process that included comprehensive system audits and process optimizations,” he said. “AIT's dedication to these standards helps to optimize operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and elevate service quality.”

The certifications are valid until November 22, 2026, at which time AIT will apply for re-certification.
