Key promotions within accounting, finance signal ongoing dedication to operational excellence
ITASCA, IL (Nov. 6, 2024) – AIT Worldwide Logistics, a leading provider of global supply chain solutions, announced two key advancements within its corporate finance team: Patrick Merola has been promoted to executive vice president of accounting and finance, and Sheri Stover has been promoted to vice president, corporate finance. The leadership appointments reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and strategic growth.“These promotions highlight the incredible talent within AIT’s finance organization,” said AIT’s Chief Financial Officer, Kory Glen. “Patrick and Sheri are outstanding leaders who embody our company values and commitment to growth and innovation. In his new role, Merola will lead corporate finance teams, including global corporate accounting, global financial planning and analysis, global treasury, and operational finance.
Since joining AIT in April 2018, Merola has played a critical role in driving success across various functions, including accounting, finance, systems implementations, and acquisition integrations. He will now oversee a team of direct reports, including Stover, as well as the company’s corporate controller and director of financial planning and analysis.
With nearly 30 years of experience leading the company’s U.S. operational accounting functions, Stover will continue to oversee U.S. and Canada accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry, and cash applications teams. In her expanded role, she will also manage the international finance group, which includes treasury, third-party agent settlements, and intercompany transactional accounting.
