In his role as executive vice president, road, Mike leads the AIT Truckload Solutions and Middle Mile Network groups. He brings both teams together collaboratively to improve service and efficiency for customers. With a passion for customer service and a strategic approach to daily improvement, Mike streamlines AIT’s road operations teams to deliver the absolute best with every shipment.
He joined AIT in 2012 as senior director of sales, central region. Mike was promoted to vice president, strategic accounts in 2014, then executive vice president in 2021. His proudest achievements over a decade-plus career at AIT include the launches of the life sciences and healthcare verticals. Under his guidance, AIT Truckload Solutions’ revenue doubled in his first two years overseeing the group.
He earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and still lives in the area. He and his wife have three grown children and support multiple local charities, a private school in Kansas City, and five global missionaries. They also finance the education of six young students in Africa, South America and Mexico.
