Personal philosophy
Give it my best every day with hard work and honesty.
As executive vice president of the Life Sciences Division, Chris Amberg spearheads the commercial and operational activities of AIT’s specialized pharmaceutical and healthcare services, including the company’s Critical Solutions Group.
His team of dedicated life sciences professionals manage the careful, expert shipping of everything from clinical trials to medical treatments, including pharmaceutical ingredients, raw materials, bulk medication and manufacturing supplies. Together, they approach every shipment with a personalized touch and decades of logistics experience.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Chris graduated from the Zürich Business School and began working in international banking and finance. More than 35 years ago, he shifted his career to the logistics industry where he has been thriving ever since. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the greater San Francisco Bay area where they enjoy good food, Napa Valley vineyards, hiking and biking. They also support homeless organizations through their church.
