Letter to Agents and Partners
Dear Valued AIT Agents and Partners,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt lives and livelihoods all over the world, I want to reassure you that AIT Worldwide Logistics remains operational. My team and I are fully dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our teammates, customers and communities while continuing to provide the high-quality partnership and service our partners, agents and customers expect.
We’re open for business
Thanks to laptops, smartphones, our mobile-friendly intranet and cloud-based file storage, AIT’s workforce is more flexible than ever before. Our investments in our IT infrastructure have enabled us to follow-through on our business continuity plans and adhere to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for remote work.
Protecting customers, teammates and communities
Above all, AIT will continue to follow and promote workplace recommendations from the World Health Organization and CDC.
While our teammates have scaled back in-person visits, even when face-to-face interaction is not possible, we believe it’s still important to maintain strong relationships. That’s why our teams are working to keep in close contact with our partners, agents and customers via email, phone calls and video conferencing.
How to stay informed
As we continue to manage our response to this global event, we promise to keep you updated along the way. For up-to-the-minute industry impact news, please subscribe to the AIT News Bulletin to receive special COVID-19 News Bulletins every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Internally, we’re keeping teammates up to speed on safety measures, market changes, work-from-home training and more, via our COVID-19 intranet page.
While these are demanding, unprecedented times, I have no doubt that AIT teammates, partners and agents will rise to this challenge. We’ve risen to many before, and emerged successful. We’re in this together, and you can count on us.
Stay safe and please reach out to us with any questions or comments.
