Air Carrier Routes Suspended Due to COVID-19

Aeroflot
As of March 27, all international flights to Russia suspended, including all cargo operations from the United Kingdom, until further notice. 

Air Bridge
Offering three weekly ORD-MOW flights, with optional backhauls to Europe and one weekly ORD-AMS.

ATL-LGG flights depart Wednesday and Sunday.

Flights from Russia to ORD via the European Union aren’t expected to be operational until August at the earliest

Air Canada
Operating scheduled passenger widebodies between LAX and YYZ, as well as scheduled cargo flights between MIA and YYZ.

In July, introduced Canada/ATL/UIO scheduled cargo flights.

If importing to the United States, consider LAX, MIA and ATL.

Air France
Back to six freighter frequencies with two stops in PIK and one in DUB.

Capacity opportunity markets are AMS, CDG, BRU, FRA, LHR, MAD and growing week over week.New destinations: FOR, SCL, MIA and SFO.

Current flight schedule up to date through August 31, 2020. Gradually increasing flight schedule and number of destinations, particularly in metropolitan France, French overseas territories and Europe. By the end of July, this new flight program will represent approximately 35 percent of usual capacity during the same period, aiming for 40 percent in August.

Service from New York to Spain via Mexico continues 

Alaska Air and Alaska Air Cargo
A reduced flight schedule remains in effect, with cargo service to the following cit ies suspended until at least August 1: Kahului, Kailua, Lihue, Mazatlán, and Zihuantanejo . All Nippon Airways 
Vietnam-United States flights reduced from daily to three per week 

American Airlines
All flights to Hong Kong suspended until August 5.

Starting August 5, flying up to 360 weekly widebody flights around the world. Review the schedule.

Capacity into ICN is tight.

New route addition: twice weekly between MIA-BUE.

Bamboo Airways 
All flights to South Korea cancelled until further notice 

British Airways 
In July, added IAH-LHR and LHR-BKK routets and increased capacity for LHR-BOS, LHR-EZE and LHR-GRU. 

Cargolux

Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon
Capacity opportunity markets are BKK, CAN, CCU, CGO, CKG, CTU, FOC, HAN, HKG, KIX, MAA, MNL, NRT, PVG, SGN, SZX, and XMN. Operating a skeleton passenger flight schedule through July. Learn more.

Cebu Pacific
Suspending all flights, domestic and international, until further notice

Delta Airlines and Delta Cargo
Expect more capacity additions to Asia, Australia, and Europe in the coming months.  Capacity opportunities into AMS, CDG, LHR, and FRA.

Effective July 8, service suspended indefinitely for 11 U.S. cities as well as Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Learn more.

As of May 13, service to the following U.S. stations is suspended until further notice: Chicago (MDW); Akron/Canton, Ohio (CAK); White Plains, New York (HPN); Newburgh, New York (SWF); Newport News, Virginia (PHF); Providence, Rhode Island (PVD), Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT); Oakland, California (OAK); Hollywood, California (BUR); Long Beach, California (LGB). Delta Cargo is adjusting operating hours for warehouses, DASH offices and the Cargo Customer Service Center. To see the hours of DASH offices and global warehouses, visit Worldwide Locations on deltacargo.com.

The Cargo Customer Service Center will operate from 6 a.m. - 12:30 a.m., 7 days a week, effective April 4, 2020 until further notice.

Service between Atlanta and São Paulo suspended starting April 3.

As of March 26, suspending all service level guarantees on DASH, DASH Heavy, DASH Critical and Critical.

El Al
Extendingsuspension of most operations through August 31, including to Moscow, Mumbai, and most destinations in Europe. A limited number of international flights will be available out of Tel Aviv. Learn more.

Emirates
Now serving IKA, PVG, BKK, LAX, GRU, AID, UIO and AMS. New routes through DXB include PVG, BKK, LAX, GRU, IAD, BGW, SIN, SGN, and DAC Continuing to resume passenger flights when possible. Review the schedule here (updated daily).

Etihad Airways
ORD-AUH freighter now three times a week.

In July, added three weekly passenger flights to AUH from JFK, YYZ and ORD, and additional AUH-DMM capacity via a weekly mini freighter.

Eva Air
No capacity constraints. HKG, SIN and ICN open. KIX tight.

FedEx
Several temporary peak surcharges effective June 8. Learn more.

Effective April 6, FedEx and its subsidiary TNT International are placing surcharges on all international parcel and freight shipments. Learn more.

Hainan Airlines
All passenger flights to the U.S. West Coast delayed until further notice.

Flights between Seattle and Beijing/Shanghai cancelled until further notice.

Hong Kong Express
Gradually resuming flights throughout August as Asian governments ease coronavirus-related travel restrictions. Click here for details

IAG Group
Cut 75 percent of services in April and May. As of March 27, launched cargo-only flights. Click here to learn more.

Iberia Airlines
All flights between Madrid and Shanghai until further notice

IndiGo
All flights between Chengdu/Hong Kong and Kolkata until further notice

JetStar
All scheduled international flights, including flights between Australia and New Zealand, are suspended until at least the end of October 2020, due to government restrictions.

Kenya Airways
All incoming and outgoing international passenger traffic to and from Kenya cancelled until further notice. Click here for more information.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
Capacity opportunity markets as of mid-July are AMS, CDG, BRU, FRA, LHR and MAD.

New destinations include: CGK, DPS, IAD, SFO and YYC.

Continuing to operate full freighter schedule and offer charter options for cargo.

Korean Air
No capacity constraints. ICN, SIN, HKG, and KIX are open capacity.

Cut 80 percent of flight services, temporarily grounding 100 of 145 aircraft. For more information on affected routes, visit koreanair.com.

Kuwait Airways
Until further notice, all flights to Iran are suspended

LATAM Cargo
Freighter service from Chicago O’Hare to São Paulo, which may include connections to Santiago and Buenos Aires, is cancelled.

Lufthansa Group
Announced a permanent 10 percent capacity cut on April 7, reducing fleet size, capacity at Frankfurt and Munich airports and discontinuing discount airline Germanwings. Learn more.

Beginning March 19, announced cut backs in all flight operations, grounding 700 of 763 planes.

Norwegian Cargo
Operating from LGW to GIG, SFO on limited days. Click here for details.

Pakistan International Airlines
All flights to/from China until further notice

Qantas Airways
As of August 10, Qantas Freight’s Melbourne freight terminals remain closed in response to advice from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services.

All scheduled international flights, except for flights between Australia and New Zealand, are suspended.

Essential domestic, regional and freight connections will be maintained as much as possible.

Rates and capacity offered or given for flights after March 21 are withdrawn, and any additional freight capacity on remaining services is offered on a space available, “first come, first served” basis.

Ryanair

SAS

Singapore Airlines
Capacity constrains into SIN, HKG and KIX.

Singapore Airlines and SilkAir increased the frequency of selected services in their passenger network in August and September 2020, and reinstated flights to Cebu, Milan, Phnom Penh and Taipei. Review flight schedules here.

Southwest Airlines
As of May 15, there is an embargo on standard, inbound-only shipments to Charlotte (CLT), New York LaGuardia (LGA), Seattle (SEA), and San Juan (SJU), until further notice. All other products are still available for shipments to these locations.

Effective March 25, suspending road feeder service for JFK and MIA until further notice.

Effective March 31, service level guarantees suspended on all products until further notice.

The 6.25 percent Federal Excise Tax previously assessed on every shipment will not apply between March 28 and December 31.

Effective March 23, will cease flights to international destination until further notice.

TAP Air Cargo
50 percent surcharge on all shipments originating from the United States.

Normal schedule will be maintained to all U.S. gateways except Chicago and San Francisco. Operations to these gateways are suspended until further notice. 

Thai Airways
Effective March 25, all international flights suspended until further notice

Thai Smile Airways
All flights to/from China cancelled

Turkish Airlines
Turking Cargo offering freighter flights from Istanbul to BRU, LGG, CDG, FRA, MXP, AMS, MST, OPO, BCN, MAD, BSL and ZRH. 

Nearly all Turkish Airlines passenger flights remain cancelled.

United Airlines
Resuming routes as possible, including BRU, GRU, NRT, ZRH, CDG, DUB, FCO, NRT and SJU.

LAX-HKG and ORD-HKG flights resumed July 13 with a tech stop at GUM. The flight departure time has changed to 5 a.m. PST. Capacity tight into ICN.

An increase in COVID-19 infections in South Africa has disrupted port operations in Durban, causing vessel delays to ships operating on South Africa Central service. Learn more

Effective May 10, a general rate increase will apply to all refrigerated commodities from Canada and the United States to destinations in Asia, the Middle East and Oceania.
