The Entire AIT-Dallas Team Pitches In to Support a Yearlong Fundraising Mission
In 2014, the co-workers at AIT-Dallas formed a Community Event Committee and dedicated a full year of fundraising to benefit a single cause - diabetes.
"We have three team members with diabetes as well as many friends and family, so this cause was near and dear to our hearts," said the AIT-Dallas Sales Manager.
Despite a very busy, high-volume 2014 for the station, every team member participated and worked hard to support a number of events throughout the year. The fundraising activities included a Funny Clothes Day, the Annual Charity Raffle, the weekly Friday lunch program and selling daily snacks. The big event took place in early November when the team participated in the Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes, an annual fundraiser to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
Thanks to the overwhelming team effort involving everyone at the station, AIT-Dallas raised a total of $4,800!
The American Diabetes Association is part of AIT Cares - an initiative celebrating co-worker efforts to give back to the communities where we live and work.
