AIT Worldwide Logistics Unveils New JFK Office
Facility Merges Regional Global Service Center with Local Sales and Operations
ITASCA, ILLINOIS (March 5, 2012) - AIT Worldwide Logistics is pleased to announce the relocation of its JFK office to an enhanced facility under the new leadership of station manager Ted Budzilek.
Serving the New York metropolitan and regional area, AIT’s local station now offers global service center functionality integrated seamlessly with domestic transportation and logistics under one roof. The newly unified station is a fully secured and bonded facility with over 15,000 square feet of warehouse space, five dock doors and extended hours.
With the move to the new building, AIT has ended its relationship with ALBS, its long time valued business partner in the New York area. “We wish ALBS employees the best in their collective and individual futures,” said Vaughn Moore, President of AIT. “Our new Queens location will play an integral role in AIT’s ongoing global business development. Leveraging the advantages gained with this state-of-the-art facility will further reinforce the strong partnerships we already enjoy with our customers.”
Sustaining a 15 year relationship with area customers and the local community, the JFK office continues to be a full service station offering AIT’s complete range of domestic and international product lines. From air to ground to ocean, customers of all sizes rely on fast, cost-effective and flexible logistics solutions with complete end-to-end visibility and the personal AIT touch.
AIT’s relocated New York station is in Jamaica, Queens, with convenient access to the port of New York and just ¼ mile from airline cargo facilities at John F. Kennedy International Airport:
