2019: Thanks to our customers, co-workers, partners and communities, AIT to reaches our 40th year in business.
2019: AIT acquires Unitrans International Corporation, a Los Angeles-based freight forwarder with expertise in a variety of specialized services.
2018: AIT acquires cold chain forwarder WorldFresh, expanding its global office network with an additional temperature-controlled facility.
2018: AIT acquires UK-based freight forwarder ConneXion World Cargo and extends transatlantic market with offices in the United Kingdom and France.
2017: AIT announces support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® by joining the St. Jude Walk/Run as a proud national sponsor.
2016: AIT expands the company’s transpacific network to include seven locations in China and two in Vietnam.
2015: AIT opens its Hermosillo office, the company’s first in Mexico. Ideally positioned in the region’s manufacturing center, Hermosillo would soon be joined by four more Mexico locations in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City and Tijuana.
2013: AIT’s European headquarters, and first office on the continent, opens in Amsterdam. That same year, AIT opens its first office in the Great White North, adding a Toronto location to the global network.
2012: In a friendly, leveraged buyout, AIT’s executive leadership team assumes ownership of AIT. They establish the board of directors, positioning the company for bold growth in the future.
2011: AIT’s fully integrated, web-based, customer-facing shipping solution, MyAIT, goes live. In the years to follow, the innovative solution would add global transportation management, PO management, customer and partner booking and next-generation GPS tracking.
