Domestic Ground

In addition to traditional airfreight services involving commercial and cargo airlines, AIT utilizes Exclusive Use Vehicles to transport time-sensitive and critical shipments to/from customers throughout the United States. These vehicles provide customers priority services for oversized or overweight shipments that cannot be moved via standard air freight.

AIT's Expedited Ground Network program was implemented to further extend quality performance to customers by offering them a reliable and cost effective transportation solution. Solely owned and operated by AIT, the expedited ground division has developed a dedicated ground network that connects all AIT stations and major gateway cities in a time definite manner. This network includes weekend line haul services as well as daily and midweek lane segments of shipments weighing a minimum of 400-500 pounds to cartage cities (those with their own pick up and delivery systems) throughout the country.

AIT also promotes Full Truck Load services throughout the United States. The extensive system of owner operators and truck lines provides door to door service from coast to coast.
