New AIT-Hong Kong Location Opens with Fanfare
Business has been growing rapidly at AIT's Asian flagship office in Hong Kong, China. So rapidly, in fact, that the team moved into a new office for the second time in as many years.
Prior to the move, the new location was fully branded with some of the company's most stunning interior signage to date. The reception area features a prominent display of the new logo, while the entryway boasts global graphics with a 3D effect and AIT's logo emblazoned on the elevator doors.
Executive Vice President Keith Tholan and Greg Weigel, Vice President of Global Operations, visited the new office last month. They joined Wilson Lee, Vice President of Asia Pacific, Thomas Ngan, Director of Air for Greater China and Tony Tong, Director of Ocean for Greater China along with the AIT-HKG staff to celebrate the location's grand opening.
The highlight of the event was a traditional lion dance meant to bring good luck to the business. Lettuce was hung throughout the office and when the ornately decorated red and yellow lions danced through the cubicle aisles, they "ate" the lettuce and spit it out to spread good fortune.
