Co-workers Unite to Provide Meals for Hungry Families
AIT co-workers in Chicago, Las Vegas and Orlando all pitched in last month to help provide meals for people who struggle to put food on the table.
AIT-Orlando continued their tradition of participation in the annual Basket Brigade. Everyone at the station donated food to the cause and on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, AIT-Orlando co-workers teamed up with hundreds of other caring individuals to deliver baskets filled with complete Thanksgiving dinners to needy families in Central Florida.
Out west, co-workers from AIT-Las Vegas worked to support Three Square food bank. The AIT-LAS team volunteered to pack dry and canned goods for distribution to Three Square's program partners (nonprofit and faith-based organizations such as soup kitchens, shelters and schools). Their efforts helped to get food to more than 100,000 men, women, children and seniors who rely on services from Three Square partners.
Finally, in the Chicago area, team members from numerous departments including Customer Service, Human Resources, Imaging, Ocean, Profit Analysis and Regulatory Affairs paid another visit to Feed My Starving Children, a very popular charity with AIT co-workers. Together, they helped to pack more than 10,000 meals that were shipped to Haiti.
More co-workers than ever before are giving back to the communities where they live and work.
The Basket Brigade and Feed My Starving Children are part of AIT Cares - an initiative celebrating co-worker efforts to give back to the communities where we live and work.
