Chef's Night Charity Event Welcomes Support from AIT
A group of co-workers from the Chicago office represented AIT at the Center for Enriched Living's annual Chef's Night, a food tasting event held at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort.
One of the largest events of its kind held in the area, Chef's Night offers unlimited tastings of local culinary delights for attendees to enjoy. More than 30 local restaurants, wineries and breweries gathered to donate unlimited small portions of their most famous dishes and beverages. The dining extravaganza featured tastes from well-known restaurants such as P.F. Chang's, Big Bowl and Starbucks as well as local fine-dining restaurants and bakeries. The spread also included a special pasta dish prepared by some of The Center's members.
Proceeds from the evening benefited the Center for Enriched Living, a non-profit organization that serves people of all ages with developmental disabilities. The event also featured an auction and raffle to further benefit the cause. In the end, more than $450,000 was raised. 2015 marked the fifth year that AIT has participated as a sponsor.
